GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS FOR LEARNING THE EIGHT SPIRITUAL BREATHS (TESB)

As laid down by Santosh Sachdeva, author of The Eight Spiritual Breaths Course Book

Course details:

The Eight Spiritual Breaths is a Course designed to help individuals access the unlimited potential within them. The Course combines instructions for eight breathing exercises along with their individual Affirmations and guidance for meditation. The students should be serious in their practice, in order to realise their full potential.

Important instructions:

  • Before commencing with the Exercises the student is advised to read and study the Course Book thoroughly.
  • The exercises have to be practiced gradually. Each exercise and its Affirmation has to be practiced for two weeks or more till you are comfortable with it, before adding the next one.
  • The Breaths are done in sequence as they lock into each other. If a Breath is missed while practicing, then the student is advised to continue with the following Breaths. Do not go back to the missed Breath.

By the end of the Course, the students:

  1. Must have complete understanding of TESB. This includes having read and thoroughly understood the book ‘The Eight Spiritual Breaths’.
  2. Must be able to answer questions on the ‘The Eight Spiritual Breaths’, as outlined in the Self Test.
  3. Must have viewed the Video series provided in the Course Materials.
  4. Must have viewed Santosh Sachdeva’s YouTube videos (especially videos answering questions of aspirants): https://www.youtube.com/user/KundaliniTV.
  5. Must have gone through the detailed FAQs section in the Course Materials.
  6. Must have incorporated the Breaths as part of his/her daily routine.
  7. The students must understand the role of the chakras as well as the Kundalini as the Descending Energy.
  8. The students need to understand the function of the chakras and their characteristics thoroughly.
  9. The Affirmations for each Breath as well as the meditational affirmations (after all the Breaths) have to be memorised by the students.
